To mark the French-Brazilian Season, France Livre - former BIEF (Bureau international de l'édition française) -, the SESC-São Paulo and the French Embassy in Brazil are teaming up to organize a professional meet-up in São Paulo on September 10 and 11, 2025, focusing on French and Brazilian publishing.

During this event, which will take place at the SESC (Center for Research and Training) in São Paulo, publishers from Brazil and France will be able to discuss their businesses, practices and catalogues as well as to evoke new partnerships  thanks to B-to-B meetings on-site and online.

Please note that this Program is organized in a hybrid format with on site and online meetings, all happening at the SESC-SP (Center for Research and Training). Each French publisher online will be available with a computer and a physical selection of books, at the SESC-SP. 7 French publishers will come to São Paulo to meet in person with their Brazilian counterparts.

Regarding the editorial subjects concerned, this event will propose on the one hand a focus on comics and graphic novels, and on the other hand a program opens to publishers of all other genres (fiction, non-fiction, children's books, art, practical books).

Comics & graphic novels:  this part will take place on September 10th and 11th and will include individual meetings on the 10th and 11th in the morning (Brazilian time) and conferences (only available on site) on the 10th in the afternoon (Brazilian time).

All other genres: The second part will be open to publishers from all fields and genres. It will also take place on September 10th and 11th and will consist of meetings on 10th and 11th in the morning (Brazilian time), and a conference on 11th in the afternoon (Brazilian time).
